Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry

The faculties of Medicine and Dentistry have a long tradition in the training of successful professionals. It is the second oldest university in the Czech Republic. These two faculties have been working in English international programmes for more than 20 years.

The tests results of USMLE (Medical Licensing Examination for the US) show that professionals are highly qualified to work in hospitals and prestigious universities, such as the Mayo Clinic and the University of Harvard.

The practical lessons of this University, both for the degree in Medicine and the one in Dentistry, are undertaken at the Hospital of Olomouc. This was built in 1896, but during the period 1994-2004 it was renovated and modernized, so nowadays it is one of the most modern Czech hospital in the Olomouc region.
