Mission:

• Our mission is to train highly qualified experts in the health and social sciences fields, so they can serve Latvian, European, and global society. Thus, the knowledge, the competences and the attitudes acquired during the degree meet the EU standards and humanistic traditions; moreover, they pretend to establish a sound base for permanent learning.
• Our mission is to develop scientific activities according to the profile of the University, so we can set the basis which enable us to keep a scientific university status.

Vision:

The Rīga Stradiņš University is a modern and prestigious university, well-known in Europe and in the whole world when it comes to the health and social sciences fields. Its phylosophy is based on focusing on the human beings and the people.
